Family Search --The LDS Library site. Has some good "getting started" information as well as things to search. LDS Library has THE largest collection of family history records and documents.
Ancestry --Has a great search feature and plenty of "non-member" available information.
Genealogy.com Another good general search site.
Gendex Good place to find out if others are researching your same tree.
US Gen Web Project Good way to find information about a specific County that might not be listed else where.
Social Security Death Index -- Don't forget when searching the SSDI that only those whom a living relative requested benefit from deceased ss will be listed here.

Lawrence Register A great site with LOTS of information!
Lawrence Co. US GENWEB site
Ohio Death Certificate's Searchable database of OH Death Certificates 1913-1937. Also has link for where to write for OH records.

Wildes Family Reunion Website
There is also a myfamily.com site for Maximillan Wildes descendants. Email me if you are a descendant and want to be a part of this website.
Wildes Family Organization This is a site by Sarah Reynolds that has lots of great information about the Wildes Family.
